Before submitting, please note:
The information below is intended to help you understand how warranty requests are usually assessed and to make sure your request can be handled as efficiently as possible.
Every request is reviewed individually, but the examples below reflect the most common outcomes.
Issues that are more likely to be covered
- Installation related faults identified early after installation
• Manufacturing defects
• Sealed glass unit failure, such as misting between panes
• Hardware or mechanism failure within the first 24 months
• Issues confirmed as a product or workmanship fault following assessment.
Issues that are less likely to be covered
- Doors or windows requiring adjustment after the first six months due to normal settlement, building movement, wear, or lack of routine maintenance
• Sticking, dropping, or catching reported long after installation where cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance have not been carried out
• Water ingress during severe, prolonged, or wind driven weather, particularly where low or flush threshold designs, external ground levels, drainage, or exposure are contributing factors
• Issues caused by changes to external ground levels, drainage, paving, decking, landscaping, or later building works
• General wear and tear or cosmetic changes that do not affect performance
• Requests submitted without proof of purchase, guarantee certificate, or evidence of final payment
Please note
New doors and windows may need minor adjustment during the first six months as buildings settle and materials respond to temperature changes. After this bedding in period, adjustment related issues are commonly linked to maintenance, usage, or external factors rather than a fault.
Where water ingress is reported, we assess weather conditions, exposure, external levels, drainage, and installation method to understand the cause.
