Our installation team are proud to produce results to the highest standard of workmanship. You will be required to install a range of windows, UPVC and aluminium products with attention to detail being key.
You will have a proven experience in our industry with a range of practical skills. Problem solving and a can-do attitude towards each task or project is essential. A UK driving licence will be required as we will provide a company van for work use. Our team members are smart, presentable and possess excellent customer care skill as we often work within our customers homes and properties.

Main Responsibilities and Requirements:
Job Title: Trade Estimator for Windows and Doors
The ideal candidate will have industry specific experience in trade estimating and be able to provide accurate estimates of project costs that meet the needs of our clients while also maintaining the company’s excellent reputation.
Responsibilities:
– Reviewing client’s requirements for windows and doors.
– Determine project requirements for hardware, glass, and materials.
– Preparing and presenting cost estimates and final design to clients.
– Ensuring that estimates are accurate and within budget.
– Liaising with suppliers and fabricators.
– Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
– Providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
– Minimum of two years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on windows and doors trade estimating.
– Knowledge of window and door materials, products, and installation methods.
– Ability to read blueprints and an understanding of building codes.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and trade estimation software.

Schedule:
Windows and Door Surveyor
As a Window and Door Surveyor, you will carry out technical surveys at customers properties, providing accurate measurements and drawings that enable a timely and successful installation to take place, whilst always aiming to be right first time.
The role will involve:
- Providing accurate measurements and installation instructions, prompt processing of site survey, noting and advising on any health & safety or access concerns
- Working closely with a senior surveyor as part of a small technical team
- Processing and liaising with suppliers to ensure that the correct products are ordered and meet our exact standards
- Reviewing the viability and logistics of the chosen product
- Managing customers’ expectations, being a point of contact and ensuring the installation is carried out correctly
The Candidate:
- Have recent experience as a windows and door surveyor working with uPVC and aluminium products
- Be able to manage own workload using our digital systems and calendars
- Pay attention to detail and have the ability to work under pressure
- Be proficient in basic computer skills
- Be aware of current construction processes and building regulations
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have the ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure

Window and Door Estimator
Main Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Preparing quotations
- Responding to customers technical enquiries promptly
- Supporting our Trade and Domestic customers by phone, email or face to face
- Supporting the team with administrative duties
- A sound knowledge of the window industry or similar
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer services skills
- Good computer skills, a good knowledge of Window Designer or equivalent
- Keen eye for detail is a must to produce consistently accurate paperwork
- Ability to recognise the priorities and manage their workload
- Confident in building a strong relationship with customers
- Good organisational skills
- Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring our customers experience the highest standards of quality of their installation with excellent levels of customer service
- Ensure customer installation schedules on installation are maintained
- Resolve customer issues which may be experienced
- Regularly visit active customer projects to assess the quality of work the installers are providing
- Manage issues on product delivery to site
- Liaise with Managing Director, Business manager and Office manager
- Pro-actively resolve installation issues in a timely & effective manner
Essential skills & Knowledge:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of field-based installations
- Customer facing service experience with a flexible & positive attitude
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure, and able to prioritise their workload
- Strong technical knowledge is essential

Mike Martin Window Systems is looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside our experienced team of window fitters. As a fitter’s mate you will assist our team with all aspects of window and door installations.
Our work takes us all over the county and no two jobs are the same. A driving license would be an advantage but not essential as you will be paired up in a van with an experienced member of the team. Candidates should be physically fit and have an interest in gaining new skills and exploring a career in the fenestration or construction industry.

Store Person
An exciting opportunity to join the team at Mike Martin Window Systems.
We are looking for a physically fit individual with good attention to detail to help organise stock, receive deliveries and carry out general storeroom duties. Driving local deliveries may also be required so a full UK driving license is essential.
This is a full-time position Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours working between the hours of 7.30am and 4pm. Salary to be discussed at interview.

The company now seeks to a recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to fill a vacancy due to the relocation of our outgoing bookkeeper. The role will work closely with the company Directors and will also liaise with the company’s Accountants.
The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for the business accounting transactions including:
• Use of Xero accounting software to record all financial transactions
• Accounts preparation for month end reports
• Preparing P&L reports
• Purchase and sales ledger
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Bank reconciliation
• Credit Control
• Payroll administration
• Administering invoice finance
